Kathleen Cross, PhD, Executive Vice President
Kathleen Cross, Ph.D. serves as Executive Vice President of KelmscottEDU, a nationally recognized higher education enrollment consulting and marketing firm, where she leads consulting, strategy, and marketing. With experience working in both U.S. and international universities, Kathleen is a former Vice President of Enrollment, Chief Technology Officer, and Dean of Studies Abroad.
Serving 600+ higher education institutions over the years, Kathleen’s approach is to create authentic experiences that engage and inspire the audience combined with innovative and proven data-driven strategy.
Kathleen holds a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University along with a bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University and master’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati and California State University. Kathleen also serves as a professor in the Ruffalo Noel Levitz Higher Education Administration Graduate Program at Bay Path University. She is a frequent national speaker and published author.
She has additional experience in corporate and healthcare organizations as a former bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist and former director and part-owner of successful medical device/technology company. She has lived in several countries and fluent or proficient in multiple languages.

Scott Voris, Managing Director
Scott brings a unique blend of marketing, print and technology expertise to KelmscottEDU. For past 15+ years, Scott owned and helped grow KelmscottEDU and its parent company into a nationally recognized marketing services leader. Prior to KelmscottEDU, Scott spent his career working in brand management, sports marketing and business consulting for highly regarded and nationally recognized brands.
Scott is passionate about integrating strong creative content, targeted data and technology into universities’ marketing communications to drive improved results. Scott truly enjoys serving universities and building team culture to support those efforts.
Scott holds an MBA and BS in Accountancy from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Scott is very active in his community and loves spending time with his wife and four daughters. Scott enjoys yoga, live music, golf and anything outdoors. He lives in Aurora, Illinois.

Kent Klevia, Regional Account Manager
Kent Kleiva brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education and software technology to KelmscottEDU. Working for such organizations as SPSS, SCT, Monster.com and the College Board, he has provided technology solutions to institutions seeking to use business intelligence, CRM or analytical software for the Enrollment Management environment. While at SPSS, he was the executive in charge of SPSS’s North American Higher Education business unit.

Mike Kanney, Account Executive
Mike (A.K.A. Trouble) has literally grown up in the education printing industry. With 38+ years of print experience, Mike has expertise in direct mail, wide-format printing, digital printing, creative concepts (print, mail and fulfillment), catalogs, newsletters, signage (indoor and outdoor) and digital flip books.
Founder and owner of Star School Items (since 1989), Mike has created in-demand student handbooks & planners, graduation programs, annual reports and school spirit apparel for hundreds of high schools, colleges and universities.
Mike has worked with higher education clients all over the United States. College and universities love working with him because he offers creative and innovative ideas, makes the buying experience fun and is an organized and fast responder (unless golfing).
On a personal level, his family is number one. In his free time, Mike enjoys golfing, camping skiing and hiking. He lives with his family in New Mexico.

John Tunny, Account Executive
With 30+ years of experience, John has spent his entire career in the printing industry and has expertise in all areas of print, including digital, offset, mailing and fulfillment.
Colleges and universities turn to John for his expert advice, and he prides himself in “absolute service”. His goal is to ensure that every project is well executed, and the client is extremely satisfied with the results.
As higher education is facing changing and challenging times, John is focused on partnering with institutions to find solutions, boost enrollments and get results. He truly loves his relationships with his clients and brings a high level of both professionalism and excitement to each project.
John spends his spare time biking, kayaking, hiking—anything to do with sports.

KelmscottEDU and Technolutions Partner to Bring Print to Slate CRM
June 20, 2019
BERKELEY, Ill., June 20, 2019 – KelmscottEDU, the higher education division of Mittera Group, announced today that it is partnering with Technolutions to bring print and fulfilment to Slate CRM. The two higher education companies are combining their industry strengths to create Slate Print, a new feature within Slate will allows universities to seamlessly add print components to their communication flows.
“Slate Print is a revolutionary new platform that brings all of the dynamic content and automation capabilities of email communications in Slate to print,” stated Alexander Clark, Technolutions’ Founder and CEO.
In a few easy steps, Slate CRM users will have the functionality to automate print in Slate—allowing them to add static or personalized postcards, letters, mailers, brochures, and viewbooks as part of an overall Slate communication strategy.

Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA), in collaboration with KelmscottEDU, has been awarded Best in Show and five gold national marketing awards from the prestigious Higher Education Marketing Awards Association and the Collegiate Advertising Awards Association.
The esteemed Best in Show was awarded to CIA for their Total Recruitment Campaign in the 33rd Annual Educational Advertising Award competition, the largest, oldest and one of most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country. This award competition is hosted by the Higher Education Marketing Awards Association, publishers of the prominent Higher Education Marketing Report.
CIA’s Total Recruitment Campaign was chosen from over 2,250 entries from over 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. In addition to Best in Show, CIA was awarded three gold awards for integrated marketing, search pieces and recruitment campaign.

Ohio Northern University Honored with Two National Awards in the 2016 Collegiate Advertising Awards Program

Ohio Northern University, in collaboration with KelmscottEDU, was named among the top in the nation in the 2016 Collegiate Advertising Awards program. The Collegiate Advertising Awards (CAA) is an elite program recognizing higher education organizations for excellence in communications, marketing, advertising, and promotions of their schools.
The 2016 CAA program had more than 900 entries from the United States and Canada representing small community colleges to very large schools and universities.
Submissions were reviewed by a national panel of industry experts, with a possibility of 100 total points. Participant’s entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their specific groups and categories.
Awards were issued for entries that received top marks from judges, placing them in the top 16% of the nation for advertising excellence. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal.
The 2016 Collegiate Advertising Awards program represented all areas of communications, media, marketing, advertising, and promotions and highlighted some of the best advertising projects in the world.
